HAROLD E. BENOLKEN

FARMINGTON - Harold E. Benolken, 60, of Primrose, died unexpectedly Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Niggemeyer of Donnellson.

He was born Sept. 12, 1916, at Omaha to Edward and Pauline Engle Benolken. On June 4, 1938, he married Lorene Lang of Primrose at Omaha. She died May 28 of this year.

He lived 34 years in Primrose, where he was a small engine mechanic. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Niggemeyer; one brother, Norman of Omaha; one sister, Lucille Jansen of California; his stepmother, Edna Benolken of Gardenia, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Church, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Primrose Cemetery.

The parish Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson.
