EDNA RICHARDSON

BONAPARTE - Mrs. Edna Richardson, 83, died Monday at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Nov. 11, 1893, at Derby to Samuel and Catherine Webster Heaton. She was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church and a charter member of the Keosauqua Book Club.

On Dec. 6, 1911, she married Clyde Richardson at Tingley. They farmed many years in the Keosauqua community, where he served as postmaster, and moved to Bonaparte in 1966. He died in 1973.

Surviving are one son, Charles of Bonaparte; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Charles Fudenski officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery at Keosauqua.

Memorials have been established to her church or to Hawk-Eye Manor senior citizen housing at Bonaparte. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
