Ottumwa, Iowa, Friday, October 8, 1976

GLEN BROMBAUGH

FARMINGTON - Glen S. Brombaugh, 76, of Farmington, died Thursday at 10:10 a.m. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born Jan. 24, 1900, in Henry County to Britton and Susann Caviness Brumbaugh. A Farmington resident more than 40 years, he was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He had worked for Valley Limestone & Gravel Company in Farmington after retiring from farming.

On Dec. 20, 1919, he married Marie Newman at Bentonsport. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David of Bonaparte and Gene of Farmington; three daughters, Mrs. Oris Williams of Farmington and Mrs. Herb Dickey and Mrs. Mary Stuart, both of Jeferson; two sisters, Grace Elmore of Fairfield and Muriel Wallingford of Bonaparte; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, with the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the Farmington Library may be left at the funeral home.
