Ottumwa, Iowa, Thursday, September 30, 1976

EMMETT R. CLARK

STOCKPORT - Emmett R. Clark, 70, died today at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

He was born March 11, 1906, at Swan Creek, Ill., to George and Rose Morely Clark. He was a retired Van Buren County employe.

On April 3, 1926, he married Ruth Pratt at Stockport. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Wayne of Newport, R.I., and Donald of Ankeny; two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Moeller of Lockridge and Mrs. Donna Thompson of Independence; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; four brothers, Frank of Stockport, Clyde and Carl, both of Bonaparte, and Edgar in Arizona; and three sisters, Mrs. Lola Pratt of Stockport and Mrs. Daisy Jack and Mrs. Kathryn Cass, both of Bonaparte.

The body is at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.

CLARK SERVICE

STOCKPORT - Services for Emmett R. Clark, 70, of Stockport who died Thursday at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stockport United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Kennedy and Wayne Bartruff officiating.

Burial will be in Dibble Cemetery near Stockport. The family will be at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has been established payable to the cancer society and memorials may be left at the funeral home.
