CHARLOTTE SALTERS

DOUDS - Charlotte E. Salters, 60, of Douds, died Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Born Dec. 15, 1915, in Camden, N.J., to Clifford and Elizabeth Simpson Baldwin, she and her husband lived most of their lives in the Douds and Selma communities. She married Theodore Salters May 14, 1943, in Wilmington, N.C. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kimberley, at home.

Services were today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with the Rev. Charles Peterson of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Following the service the body was taken to University Hospitals Medical School in Iowa City for anatomical study.
