LeROY M. TEAL

KILBOURN - LeRoy M. Teal, 70, a retired Kilbourn farmer, died Tuesday at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua following a lengthy illness.

He was born Oct. 13, 1905, at Cooperstown, N.D., to Castor and Jessie Bartlett Teal. He spent most of his life in Van Buren County.

Surviving are his widow, Veneta Pierce Teal; one step-brother, Harold Gray of Burlington Junction, Mo.; and one stepsister, Marie Billingsley of Maryville, Mo.

The service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in Kilbourn Cemetery.

A memorial has been established payable to the cancer fund.
