Rollie L. Morrow

ELDON - Rollie LeRoy Morrow, 77, died Friday at his home. He had been in failing health two years.

He was born May 11, 1898, in Van Buren County to Arthur and Lydia Freeman Morrow, and had spent most of his life in the Eldon community. He retired as a car foreman from the Rock Island Railroad in 1967.

He was a member of the New Hope Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star of Eldon, the KAABA Shrine Temple and the Davenport Consistory. He was a member of the Wapello County Fair Board.

He married Faith Keller on Nov. 18, 1923. She died in 1974.

Surviving three daughters, Mrs. Frances Damm of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Carolyn Cook of Eldon and Mrs. Sheila Adamson of Agency; three sons, Louis of Eldon, Dwight of Gardiner, Mont., and Eugene of Phoenix, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Maxine Strother of Eldon; and two brothers, Leyton of Eldon and Earl of Belknap.

The service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, with the Rev. Earl Menning officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.

Masonic rites will be held tonight at 7:30 at the funeral home.
