Everett L. Wells

BIRMINGHAM - Everett L. Wells, 65, of Birmingham died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was a retired administrator of the Cerro Gordo County Care Facility at Mason City.

He was a member of the Clear Lake Christian Church and the Birmingham Lions Club and was a 32nd degree Mason, past master of Workman Masonic Lodge 634 at Stockport, and past partron of Eastern Star Lodge 544 at Stockport.

He married Mabel Whitcanack May 8, 1938, at Stockport. She survives as do one son, Kriss of Boston, Mass.; and one sister, Mrs. Louise Moore of West Burlington.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Birmingham Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril.

The body is at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.
