CLYDE HUMBLE
Clyde Humble, 70, retired farmer of Keosauqua, died at 11:02 a.m. Monday, October 27, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
He was born June 6, 1905, near Bladensburg in Wapello county, the son of Samford and Laura Davis Humble. He was a member of Keosauqua Christian Church, an electrician in Bettendorf for many years, and farmer here from 1943 until retirement.
Surviving: Two sons, Arthur, Tampa, Florida, and Jerry, Cantril; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Burrell, West Burlington; three brothers, Marion, Tampa, Florida Merle, St. Louis, Missouri, and Walter, Manteca, California; two sisters, Flora Schell and Sylvia Huddleston, both of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 30, at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua Christian Church with the Rev. Bill Bensheimer officiating. Burial was in Fellows Cemetery. Pedrick Funearal(err) Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
