MRS. NELLIE C. DUFFIELD

Mrs. Nellie C. Duffield, 80, suffered a fatal heart attack as she was leaving Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Saturday, August 9, 1975.

Mrs. Duffield had been a patient in the hospital and was dismissed shortly before 2 p.m. She was stricken in the hospital driveway.

The daughter of Thomas and Margaret Stevens DeHart, she was born June 5, 1895, near Bentonsport. She married James E. Duffield, August 13, 1913, at Keosauqua. The couple farmed in Van Buren County.

Mrs. Duffield was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church.

Surviving: The husband; daughter Mrs. Roy Stump, Douds; one grandson; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Schnedler; Pittsburg cemetery.
