REV. ONLEY R. ROBERTS

The Rev. Onley Ray Roberts, 76, dies Saturday at his home in Blakesburg, Iowa.

He was the father of Jewell Ogden, whose husband, Rev. Gerald Ogden, was pastor of the Bonaparte First Baptist Church for several years.

Rev. Roberts came to Bonaparte many times to fill the pulpit for Rev. Ogden while he was away holding Revival meetings.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Knedler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Asa Popp and the Rev. Gerald Ogden officiating. Burial was in the Blakesburg Cemetery.
