Julia A. Anderson was born June 18, 1828 in Hamilton county, Ohio, near Cincinnati. At the age of 12 years she, with her parents, came to Iowa where they settled.

She was married to Extine Davis Dec. 7, 1847. To this union were born six girls and five boys, all of whom are living.

She was a consistent member of the M. E. church and a kind and willing neighbor and friend.

Her death occurred Wednesday, Feb. 14, and the funeral services were held at the M. E. church the following day, conducted by Rev. Charles Wilson. Interrment [sic] was made at Centre Chapel.
