Little Orpha, the youngest daughter of Neri and Cornelia Hoskins, was born Dec. 4, 1905 and died Dec. 14, 1906, aged one year and ten days.

She was a very bright child and of such a disposition that all who knew her loved her. But God has called, and with aching hearts we give her up and say, "Thy will be done." She was with us but a short time but she was a source of sunshine in the home thus gladdening our hearts. She was a great sufferer for seven weeks, but she never cried or complained during it all. She leaves to mourn, father, mother, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Gracious Savior, gentle Shepherd,
Little ones are dear to thee.
Gathered with they arms and carried
In thy bosom may Orpha be;
Sweetly, fondly, safely, tender,
From all want and danger free.

Funeral services were held at the home by Rev. P.H. Hawk of the M.E. church of Koesauqua at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, 1906.
