MRS. WILMA K. DEWEIN

Wilma K. Dewein, 55, rural Bonaparte, died at 1 a.m. Sunday, April 6, at home following a lengthy illness.

She was born June 12, 1919, at Lucerne, Missouri, the daughter of Walter R. and Ruth Klinginsmith Gittings. She married Frank Dewein October 17, 1948, at Fort Madison. A former Sheaffer Pen Co. and Metro-Mail employe, she was a member of Fort Madison First Christian Church.

Surviving: The husband; her mother, Unionville, Missouri; two sons, Richard, Morning Sun, and Steven, Des Moines; a brother, Guy Gittings, Mexico, Missouri; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Vivian) Brookhiser, Denmark, Mrs. A.L. (Iva) Hoskin and Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Sanders, both of Unionville, Missouri.

Funeral was Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at Big Mound Methodist Church near Bonaparte, Revs. Scott Holmes and Harold Schirm; Vale cemetery. A memorial to Easter Seal Society has been established.
