BIRMINGHAM - Mrs. Mary June McMillen, 90, died Wednesday at Scotland County Nursing Home in Memphis, Mo., after a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 5, 1884, in Birmingham to Newton and Belle Barker Calhoun. On Nov. 15, 1925, she married Craig Miller. He died in 1954. On Aug. 21, 1961, she married Edward McMillen, who died in 1972.

Surviving are one stepson, Don Miller, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Cecil Barker, both of Keosauqua.

She was a Parsons College graduate and taught school in Birmingham and Stockport for a number of years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Keosauqua PEO and the Delphian Society.

The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
