Mrs. Iva Juanita Baird, 83 of Farmington, formerly of Kahoka, Mo., died Monday, December 11, 1972 at 12:40 a.m. at Scotland County Memorial Hospital. Born March 5, 1889 in Keosauqua, Iowa she was the daughter of Fred and Jalina King Murphy. She married George H. Baird September 15, 1907. He died in 1964.

She is survived by two sons, Richard of Moline, Ill. Frederick of Colorado Springs, Colo., five daguthers, Mrs. Georgia Mohr of Farmington, Iowa, Mrs. Jalina Kemmer of Wyaconda, Mrs. Lillie Ayres, St. Louis, Mrs. Mary Schultz of Moline, Ill, Mrs Lelah Schultz of Mountain Grove, Missouri, ten grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, and one sister.

Mrs. Baird was a member of the Farmington Methodist Church.

Funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Farmington Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Interment in Kahoka cemetery.
