Ohio K. Murphy, 72 retired farmer died Thursday, Sept. 8, 1966 at 5:30 p.m. at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital. He suffered a heart attack two hours earlier.

Born May 6, 1894 near Keosauqua, son of Fred and Jalina King Murphy, married Dec. 25, 1918 to Hazel Arnold who survives. Mr. Murphy farmed until retiring in April of 1960, when moved into Keosauqua.

Also surviving are two brothers and one sister: Charlie Murphy of Pulaski, Morris Murphy of Keosauqua and Mrs. Iva Baird of Farmington. One sister is deceased.

Funeral will be Sunday 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua Chrisitan Church. Burial in the Fellows Cemetery. Body at Catcott Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Fred Burkett, Glenn Arnold, Dale Murphy, Lloyd Arnold, Leo Murphy, Orrie Linn, Lawrence Murphy, James Ruthven.
