MURRAY VAN STEENIS

Murray Van Steenis, 73, died Wednesday, June 27 at the Tower Park Nursing Home in Oskaloosa.

He is survived by his widow, Velma; two daughters, Norman Allgood of Oskaloosa and Iola Fleck of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sons, Robert of Oskaloosa and Donald of Eddyville; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.

The funeral was held Saturday at the Garland Chapel with Rev. Max Johnson and Rev. Russell Spoeres officiating. Burial was in the Porter Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Van Steenis was a Milton resident.
