Paul S. McDonald, 72, Bonaparte, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 20 at the Van Buren Memorial hospital in Keosauqua.
He was born Nov. 8, 1900, in Danville, the son of Frank and Lucy Spiedel McDonald. He married Bertha Anderson in Freemont, Neb., April 29, 1929. A retire farmer, Mr. McDonald moved to Bonaparte from Lowell in 1966.
Surviving: The wife; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lee McDonald, New London; and one niece, Virginia McLachlan New London.
The funeral was March 23, Friday at 2 p.m., Bonaparte Presbyterian church, Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte cemtery.
