Elliott Marshall

Elliott Marshall, 92, of Farmington died at 4 a.m. Sunday, March 4, in Van Buren County Memorial hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born January 31, 1881 at Salem, Ia., the son of John E. and Mary Etta Fraiser Marshall. On August 28, 1905, he married Edith Grace Wollenweber at Farmington. He was a retired farmer, and was a member of the United Church at Farmington. He had live in the Farmington area most of his life.

He is survived by one son, E.J. Marshall of Revere, Mo., and one daughter, Mrs. Edna L. Ponte of Farmington, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, three sisters, one son and one daughter.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 at the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, the Rev. Edward Maus officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery.
