Mrs. Cecil Henkle

Mrs. Cecil Henkle, 78, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Nelson nursing home, Fairfield, where she had been a patient since December, 1971.

She was born Nov. 4, 1894, in Appanoose county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Peckham. She married Roy Henkle.

She was a member of the Keosauqua Christian church.

Surviving are five sons, Esco of Keosauqua, Leslie of Arizona, Ralph of Idaho, Max of Colorado, Leroy of Wyoming; three daughters, Bessie of Oskaloosa, Beryl of Utah and Lettie June of California.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Keosauqua Christian Church. Rev. Millard Marshall will officiate. Burch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
