Hazel Marie Cook

Mrs. Hazel Marie Cook, 68, Fairfield, Route 4, died Monday, Dec. 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 24.

Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry D. Yancey officiating. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook was born Dec. 9, 1904 in Van Buren County, the daughter of Selby and Minnie Lewis Gire. She was married to Walter Cook Dec. 6, 1922. He preceded his wife in death April 6, 1967.

Mrs. Cook is survived by ten children: Paul Cook, Mrs. Pauline Holt and Mrs. Albert Dunn, all of Des Moines; Marvin Cook, Charles Cook, James Cook, Jack Cook and Mrs. Jean Ollom, all of Fairfield; Mrs. Aretta Fitzwater and Billy Cook, Davenport.
