Len D. Helsel

Len Daniel Helsel, 67, was dead on arrival at Davis County Hospital at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 after an apparent heart attack.

He was born Aug. 21, 1905 in Davis County to Daniel and Armeda Brown Helsel. He was a farmer and a carpenter. In 1926 he married Florence Fisher, who died in 1939.

He married Mayme Van Syoc Snyder March 23, 1941. She survives. Als surviving are one daughter, Patsy Rebecca Helsel of Arizona; one son, Harold William of Cantril; three grandhildren(sp) and one stepson, Dale Eugene Snyder of Milton.

The funeral was held Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Milton, with the Rev. Dale Church officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
