Lloyd L. Miner

STOCKPORT - Lloyd L. Miner, 85, livestock buyer and farmer, died Monday morning at his home here.

He was born Dec. 25, 1885 at Kyles Ford, Tenn., to James and Ganda Gipson Miner. On Aug. 10, 1909 he married Sarah D. Wells. He had lived here over 59 years.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Lawrence of Stockport, F.R. (Butch) of Fairfield and Harry of Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Flora Davidson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Elnora McDowell of Keota; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. P.C. Matney, Mrs. Landon Collins and Mrs. W.G. Stout, all of Kingsport, Tenn.

The funeral will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Stockport United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randold Klobnak and the Rev. Chester C. Werft officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery. Weston Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, is in charge of arrangements.
