Craig McManis

Craig McManis, 57, Montrose, Rt. 1, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Sacred Heart hospital in Fort Madison.

He was born June 4, 1914, in Cantril, the son of Clay and Iva Work McManis. He married Grace Judd in Bloomfield in 1930. Mr. McManis was a foreman at the Iowa State Penetentiary in Ft. Madison.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Clay McManis, Donnellson; three sons, Paul, Minneapolis, Minn., William, Winter Haven, Fla., and Robert, Ft. Madison; one brother, Noel, Montrose, and one sister, Mrs. Horace Newlon, Ft. Madison.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday, Nomember(err) 15, at Brant-Clements funeral chapel, Ft. Madison. Burial was in Montrose cemetery.
