Miss Rose G. Hulsman

Miss Rosie C. Hulsman, 69, of West Point died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11:30 p.m. at home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

She was born Oct. 12, 1902, in West Point and was a life resident. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church at West Point and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She was a daughter of the late Henry Hulsman and Anna Marie Fraise Hulsman.

Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Vardaman of Marion, Ind., Mrs. Walter (Cecelia) Johnson of West Point, Mrs. Lawrence (Ann) Leffler of West Burlington; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The funeral service was held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church in West Point. Burial was in the Calvary cemetery, West Point. The Rev. Francis Lenoch officiated. The Link Funeral Home, West Point, was in charge of arrangements. The recitation of the Rosary was Tuesday at 3 p.m. by the Altar and Rosary Society and at 8 p.m. by the parish.
