Aimee V. Beckley

Aimee B. Beckley, daughter of John and Anna Ford Rogers, was born January 11, 1880, in Davis County, Iowa, and died Tuesday, May 10, 1977. She had been hospitalized for much of the past eight months.

Aimee was raised, educated and spent most of her life in Davis County, Iowa. She was a housewife and mother.

In March of 1900 she was united in marriage to Caleb Willcoxson. After 33 years of marriage Caleb died in 1933. In 1936 Aimee was again united in marriage to Willard B. Beckley. He also preceded her in death in 1963.

Others that preceded her in death were her parents, one daughter, Delpha, one son, Paul, one brother, two sisters and one great-grandchild.

She leaves to cherish their memories of her, one son, John Willcoxson of Bloomfield, Iowa, and one sister, Nora Birchmier of Pulaski, Iowa, nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Aimee was a member, for many years of the Stiles Christian Church until 1954 when she transferred to the Bloomfield Christian Church where she was active until the past several years.

She was a person of wit, interest and hummor. She leaves an empty spot in the lives of many, and has give much of love and kindness that will never be lost or forgotten.

funeral services were held Thursday, May 12, 1977, at the Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield, Iowa, with the Rev. Dwight Messsenger officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
