FAIRFIELD - Leo E. Morrow, 72, of Kirkland, Wash., died May 21, 1987, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1914, in Douds to Emmett and Ellen Wolfe Morrow. He married Clarette Norman on June 4, 1938, in Winfield. He graduated in 1937 from Parsons College and taught school in the Mount Union, Ottumwa, Cedar and Cardinal school districts. He lived in Fairfield from 1951 to 1966, selling real estate. He then moved to Riverside, Calif., teaching for 14 years before retiring to Kirkland. He was a former member of the Swedesburg Lutheran Church and was active in the Fairfield Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Larry of Bellevue, Wash., and Warren of Longmont, Colo.; a daughter, Marilyn Raymond of Kent, Wash.; seven grandchildren; his father of Keosauqua; and a brother, Ralph of San Diego, Calif.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.

The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swedesburg Lutheran Church, the Rev. Matthew Martens officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
