Henry Hudson

MILTON - Henry H. Hudson, 72, of Milton died Jan. 23, 1989, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born June 24, 1916, in Van Buren County to Preston W. and Thressa DeVault Hudson. He was a construction worker and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Russell Strait Post of the American Legion and the Coyote Association. He married Yonna Conner on Feb. 4, 1940, in Bloomfield.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Harlean Hansen of Kingman, Ariz., and Diana O'Connor of Des Moines; and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a son.

The service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Milton Christian Church, the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Priester Funeral Chapel in Milton. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
