Winnie Williams

BIRMINGHAM - Winnie V. Williams, 89, formerly of Birmingham died at 7:45 a.m. May 23, 1983, at Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua, where she had lived since July 29, 1980.

She was born Oct. 24, 1893, at Pleasant Plain to Allison and Anna Hodson Hodson. She was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church. She married Clifford Bailey May 24, 1910. He died Feb. 22, 1938. She married Floyd Williams December 1940. He died Oct. 15, 1980.

Survivors: sons Forrest Bailey of Burlington and Dean Williams of Kansas City, Mo.; daughters Marjorie Ellingsworth of Mount Vernon, Ill., and Mildred Rankin of Elsberry, Mo.; and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.

Memorial: her church.
