FARMINGTON - Harold Gordon Krouse, 72, Farmington, died at 5:37 p.m., Saturday, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Ft. Madison.

He was born Dec. 7, 1903, at Dawn, Mo., the son of the late David and Betty Jones Krouse. He married Laura Mae Eddy Dec. 10, 1929 at Kahoka. She survives.

Mr. Krouse was a resident of Farmington for 45 years and was retired from the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant at Burlington. He was a member of the messiah Lutheran Church, Keokuk.

He is survived by one granddaughter and seven sisters, Mrs. Fay Shearer and Mrs. Mildred Martin, both of Farmington; Mrs. Eunice Hite and Mrs. Wilma Carroll, both of Medill, Mo.; Mrs. Irene Smith, Des Moines; Mrs. Rosie Van Patten, Ekiah, Calif.; and Mrs. Sylvia Butler, Luray, Mo.

Mr. Krouse was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. The Rev. Gilbert Croll of Keokuk will officiate. Interment will be in Green Glade Cemetery.
