Opal McCracken

FARMINGTON - Mrs. Opal McCracken, 67, of Glendale, Ariz., died at 6 a.m. Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Glendale following a long illness.

She was born April 29, 1909 at Richland, Ore., the daughter of the late Harvey Rice and Ella Haines Shoemaker. She married Isaac McCracken Feb. 19, 1927 at Bonaparte. He survives.

Mrs. McCracken was a member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene.

A sister, a brother and a daughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Don (Mileta) Collins of Fairfield, Mrs. Willard (Lasca) Courtney of Mediapolis, Mrs. Roy (Paula) Graham of Farmington, Mrs. Jimmy (Lueene) Jaramillo of Hollywood, Calif. and Mrs. Rue Randall of Sun Valley, Calif.; four sons, Lonzo of Phoenix, Ariz., Don of Harrogate, England, Dr. Rance of Aurora, Ohio and Burke of Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie LeFebvre of Keosauqua; 33 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Farmington Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Dennis Kiper will officiate.

Interment will be in Greenglade Cemetery.

Visitation will be after noon Thursday at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. The family will be present from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
