LLOYD SMITH

Lloyd Smith of 1818 Evans Ave., Cheyenne, Wyo., died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1965 at Memorial Hospital, Cheyenne, after a long illness. Services were held Wednesday P.M. at Millers Home for Funerals in Donnellson, Ia., with burial in the Sharon Cemetery.

Born in McLean County, Ill., on Oct. 28, 1878, he was married in 1898 to Jessie C. Dement, who preceded him in death in May, 1953. They lived around Big Mound for a number of years. After retiring from farming he went to live with his daughter, Mrs. Lois Chastain in Cheyenne, Wyo. He is also survived by three granddaughters and two grandsons, the children of his daughter, Twinkle Wilcoxson, who died in 1943.
