NORA ADDIE SIMMONS

Nora Addie Simmons, a resident of Oklahoma City, Okla., for the past sixty years and formerly of Farmington, Iowa, passed away at a nursing home in Oklahoma City on June 10, 1967, at the age of 91 years, five months and one day. She was a member of the Methodist church and will be remembered by many in the Bonaparte and Farmington communities as the one who had the beautiful monument erected at the Thompson Cemetery several years ago, honoring the pioneers of Van Buren County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Ellen Simmons; seven sisters and four brothers. Left to mourn her passing, one brother, Clyde G. Simmons of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services and burial were held at Oklahoma City, June 13, 1967.
