GOLDIE STANDLEY

Goldie Masells Standley, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, died at her home Monday, Jan. 30, 1967.

She was born Apr. 17, 1894, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Samuel J. and Etta Watson Clark. On Nov. 25, 1914, she married Hollis T. Standley at Stockport.

She was member of Friends church near Stockport.

Surviving are four sons, Dale W., LaSal, Utah; Clyde H., Miami, Fla.; Dean M., Keokuk, Donald C., Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. Newton Van Dorin, Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Roach, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Hubert Fetterman, Salem; 17 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3 at Weir-Cookes Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, in charge of the Rev. James Troxell. Burial was in Hickory Grove cemetery near Stockport.
