Donel K. Nedrow

Donel K. Nedrow, son of James and Ann Nedrow, was born February 22, 1886, near Selma and departed this life Saturday, Nov. 1, 1969, near his home south of Selma at the age of 83.

Except for brief periods, his life was spent farming in the Selma community.

He was married to Ethel Cudworth, who preceded him in death in 1953. Remaining to mourn his passing are 3 sons, John of St. Louis, Mo., Raymond and Ralph, both of Cedar Rapids, and 10 grandchildren, including Patty and Keith Nedrow, who lived with their grandfather, other relatives, neighbors and friends. Four sisters, a brother and a half-brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1969, at 2 P.M. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Willis Grant, pastor of the Selma United Methodist Church officiating. Vocalists were Mrs. Marvin Lanman and Mrs. Garold Hughes, accompanied by Mrs. Max Caves. Pall bearers were Joe Michael, Fred Kunzman, Rex Ritz, Kenneth Lewis, Mike Crane and Glenn Sprouse. Interment was in Iowaville Cemetery near Selma.
