Russell Nicholson

Russell Nicholson, 77, of Hillsboro, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant, to which he had been admitted earlier in the day.

He was born Mar. 31, 1890 near Oakland Mills. On Sept. 4, 1919, he married Florence Ross at Big Mound community.

Mr. Nicholson, a farmer, was a member of Friends church, Salem.

Surviving are the wife; one daughter, Mrs. William Hoaglin, Mt. Pleasant; a grandson, Russell Remick, Hillsboro; two greatgrandsons.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M., Tuesday in Friends church, Salem, the Rev. Roscoe Townsend officiating. Burial was in Salem-East cemetery. Services were in charge of Beatty Funeral Chapel, Salem.
