ELMER LEE KISLING

Elmer Lee Kisling, 80, died in the Ottumwa hospital on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. He had been a patient there since the previous Sunday. He lived on a farm near Utica.

He was born Nov. 27, 1883, the son of John and Mary Harwood Kisling. He was not married and was a Van Buren County resident his entire life.

Survivors include a brother, Roy Kisling; a sister, Mrs. Morris Murphy, both of Keosauqua; 15 nieces and nephews.

One nephew preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 22 at the Burnett-Catcott Funeral Home, with the Rev. R.M. Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Miller's Chapel cemetery.
