Leo Musser

Services for Leo Musser, 78, former Gilman, Minn., area resident who died in Gresham, Ore., Wednesday morning, Feb. 5 where he had been living for the past eight years, were held from the Gilman Community church at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Paul Dowty, pastor in charge. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery in charge of Cyrus Lodge No. 338, A.F. & A.M.

Born Jan. 1, 1886, in Norton, Kans., he was the son of Frank and Addie Musser. When he was young, the family moved to Bentonsport, Iowa, where he received his education, alter attending the Business College of Quincy, Ill.

On Oct. 2, 1911, in Minneapolis, Minn., he was married to Susie Paul and they had always lived in the Gilman area. She died in 1950. In 1958, he was married to Ada Nickerson Parker of Gresham, Ore., where they had since made their home.

Mr. Musser was a member of the Gilman Community church and Cyrus Lodge No. 338 A.F. & A.M.

Surviving are his widow, Ada; a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Thompson, Lincoln, Nebr., a step-daughter and four step-sons. Also surviving are several grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews including Mrs. Richard Kvidera and Mrs. Harold D. Miller, both of Marshalltown, and a brother, Virgil Musser, Phoenix, Ariz.
