Larry Cloyd Hagedon, age 72, died peacefully on June 28, 2017, at CentraCare Health Services, Monticello, MN. Larry was born April 1, 1945, and raised in Ottumwa IA. Larry had lived in Ft Madison, IA, and Monticello, MN. In recent years he was a resident of Keosauqua, Milton, and Cantril, IA, where he enjoyed driving for the Amish. Larry held several jobs in his life including machinist, logger, entrepreneur and deputy sheriff.

Larry is survived by his brother, Carroll (Reva) Hagedon of Enid, OK, former spouse, JoElla Hartley Hagedon, and daughter, Rebecca Vaughn, of Big Lake, MN, sons, Steven (Colleen) Hagedon of Monticello, MN, and Robert (Delite) Hagedon of Big Lake, MN, eight grandkids, and six great-grandkids. He was proceeded in death by his parents Cloyd Vaughn and Opel Irene Hagedon, stepmother, Violet Hagedon, brother, Steven Loren Hagedon, and niece, Carlena Hagedon Lane.

Larry was a Mensa and belonged to several community organizations including Lions Club. He was also active with the Republican Party and was an avid outdoorsman. Private service is to be held at a later date.
