MRS. PEARL McPHERSON

The funeral service for Mrs. Pearl McPherson, 79, of Davenport, former Farmington resident, was held Monday at 10 a.m. in the McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf, with burial in Oakdale cemetery, there.

Mrs. McPherson died Thursday in St. Luek's(Luke's) hospital, Davenport after a two-year illness.

The former Iva E. Breitenstin, she was born in Farmington. She was married to Mr. McPherson in 1945 in Fort Madison.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. (Ethel) Hart, Davenport, and Mrs. David (Grace) Cook, Galesburg, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Della Wood and Mrs. Forrest White of Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Verna Roth, Donnellson; and a brother, Walter Breitenstein, Farmington. Three grandchildren also survived.

Memorials were made to the Cancer Society.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Breitenstein attended the funeral service.
