BESSIELOU LONGANECKER

Mrs. Bessielou Longanecker, 84, of Farmington died Friday, June 16 at 3:30 p.m. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua.

She was born March 23, 1883, near Farmington in Clark County, Mo., the daughter of T.F. and Amanda Calvert Jones and was a lifelong resident of the area.

She was a member of the Christian church at Kahoka, Mo.

Her marriage to Marvin R. Longanecker took place on Feb. 10, 1920 at Kahoka. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1958. She was also preceded in death by a daughter in infancy.

Survivors are a son, Francis Longanecker of Farmington; a sister, Hila Sherwood, and three grandchildren, all of Farmingotn.

The funeral service was held Monday, June 19, at 2 p.m., in the Christian Church at Kahoka with the Rev. Thomas Russell officiating. Burial was in the Kahoka cemetery.

Guttings Funeral Home in Kahoka was in charge of arrangements.
