EDWARD HIGDON

Funeral services for Edward Higdon, 66, of Colorado Springs, Colo., a native of Van Buren County, were held Saturday, Sept. 9 at Colorado Springs, where he had lived for a number of years. He died Thursday, mornings at his home after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his wife Queen Hedges Higdon; two sons, James H. and David Edward Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. James Rowe, all of Colorado Springs; two sisters, Mrs. George Regur of Keosauqua and Mrs. John Workman of Ashland, Va. and a brother, Lee Higdon of Greenwood, Ind. There are five grandchildren.

He was born at Keosauqua, the son of Grant and Stella Lazenby Higdon.
