Ed Graham

Edward Ivan Graham, 77, of Farmington, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 7:45 a.m. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, following a lengthy illness. He had been a patient in the hospital 14 days.

He was born April 3, 1890, in Lee county, the son of George and Ucinda Smith Graham.

He was married to Frances Arnold on March 19, 1924 at Mt. Pleasant. She died November of 1931.

He spent most of his life in Farmington and had been a barber for 42 years. He was a member of the Farmington Methodist church.

Surviving are three sisters, Beulah Graham of Farmington, Mrs. Louis (Maude) Curley of Memphis, Mo., Mrs. Clarence (Ada) Poole of Kahoka, Mo.; four brothers, Walter Graham, Roy Graham and Lewis Graham, all of Farmington, and Merle Graham of Kahoka, Mo.; nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Verla Cahill of Farmington with whom he made his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

The funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. in the Farmington Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial was in Sharon cemetery, about 7 miles east of Farmington.

Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
