A.R. Greenfield

Albert R. Greenfield, 84, retired farmer, died Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Nelson Nursing Home, Fairfield after an illness of one year.

Last rites were held Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon in charge of the Rev. John Nye. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Douds.

Greenfield was born June 19, 1884 in Chariton, the son of Ross and Mary Baldwin Greenfield. He was married to Nellie Morrow Oct. 30, 1907. He(She) died in 1953.

Greenfield farmed in Van Buren County for many years. He also served on the Van Buren County Board of Supervisors. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons: Stanley, Libertyville; Raymond, Germantown, Md. and Glenn, Merriam, Kansas. Eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, also survive.
