Miss Lillian Gilchrist

Miss Lillian Gilchrist, 86, died in her sleep Friday night, Mar. 13 at Long Beach, Calif. The daughter of David and Martha Gilchrist, she was born Sept. 27, 1877. She was one of a family of 14 children: nine boys and five girls: Bailey, Milton, Collier (Colonel), Harry, Norris, Lloyd, John, Charlie and Merne; Jennie, Sarah, Mardie, Maude and Lillian. The only survivor is Mrs. Maude Shreave, Long Beach, Calif. She was reared on a farm two miles south of Fairfield before going to California several years ago. She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Katherine Gilchrist of Cantril.
