Mrs. Mary Hosette

Mrs. Mary Julia Hosette, 88, a resident of Stockport 54 years, died suddenly at 4:30 a.m. Friday, Mar. 6 at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Workman, Stockport. She had been in failing health three years.

Mrs. Hosette was born Oct. 25, 1875 in Jefferson county, the daughter of John and Julia Palm Droz. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Bertha Stevens, Argyle; Verne Hosette and Mrs. Louise Workman, Stockport; Bernard Hosette, Ellsworth; Rollin Hosette, Bronx, N.Y., and Josephine Hosette, Arlington, Va.

Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Two brothers are deceased.

The Rosary was recited Sunday at 8:45 p.m. at Weston Behner funeral home. Fairfield.

Funeral services were held Monday, Mar. 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. Francis Henricksen. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
