MRS. EVA EGGLESTON

Mrs. Eva Rebecca Eggleston was born July 21st, 1975(1875) in Scotland County, Mo., and passed away at the Davis County Hospital, Bloomfield, Iowa, Feb. 2, 1967 at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 12 days.

She was married to Bert Eggleston Dec. 15, 1892. To this union were born four children: (Ferol) Mrs. S.E. Wellborn of Cantril, Ia.; (Levanchie) Mrs. Cliff Drake of Memphis, Mo.; Harley Pahl Eggleston of Riverdale, Ill. and Ernest Boyer Eggleston, deceased.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, Feb. 3, 1940, and their son, Ernest, also preceding her in death were her parents, Jacob and Ersula Boyer, and one sister, Virgie.

Besides the three children, she is survived by one brother, Ezra Boyer of Memphis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

She joined the Methodist at Mt. Olive at an early age, later moved her membership to the Cantril Methodist where she has been an active and faithful member for many years.

She will be greatly missed by her family, relatives and many friends in whom she was always deeply interested.

Funeral services were held at the Cantril Methodist church, Sunday, Feb. 5, with the Wellborn Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Herbert E. Phillips officiated. Pianist was Mrs. Eva Cretcher with Mrs. James Charbonneau as soloist. Pallbearers were L.V. Daggs, L.A. Wilson, Dick Saar, Leo Drake, Harold Wells and Lloyd Jamison. Interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
