Smith C. Easter

Word has been received of the death, Jan. 5, of Smith Culbertson Easter of Seattle, Wash., from a heart attack.

Mr. Easter was born in Bonaparte, Dec. 17, 1884, third and last son of John H. and Mary Margaret Wood Easter, residents of Bonaparte for a number of yeaers(sp), and later of Albia, Iowa. The other sons were Clement Wood and Hugh Hamilton Easter, deceased.

Mr. Easter had lived in Seattle for many years. There were no children. Following the death
of his wife, Margaret, several years ago, he moved to Bellingham, Wash., to be near his wife's relatives. Interment was beside his wife in Holy Rood Cemetery in Seattle, Jan. 10. The only surviving member of the Easter family is a niece, Miss Helen Easter of Riverhead, New York, formerly of Des Moines, Iowa.

J.M. Easter, Bonaparte, was a cousin of the above gentleman.
