Colin Brownlee

Colin R. Brownlee, 77, of Farmington Rt. 1, died Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 12:15 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born Oct. 30, 1890, the son of Samuel and Sarah Robertson Brownlee, in the Sharon Community. He married Minnie Brown, Dec. 13, 1911. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Samuel Roy of Keokuk; a sister, Maude Gaibel of Ft. Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Sharon Presbyterian church. Rev. Kenneth Harden will officiate. Burial will be in the Sharon cemetery.
